Tape Transfer (TT)

The machine has been designed for the fabrication of plastic zippers. It can also be used to injection-mould around inserts of any kind, especially for endless products like strips, strings, metal strips, ropes, steel cables and similar goods.

Those are pulled off their coils (up to 14 strings) in a fully automated style, injection-moulded around and, if requested, coiled up, separated from the gate, and punched or imprinted depending on the product requirements.
The special advantage: as the inserts are pulled in automatically the machine runs without human intervention.

We can pull your product off different wreaths: From textile strings (up to 14 coils) through to cables on cable reels of 650kg each (four reels).

These are pulled into the injection moulding area and are injection-moulded there. On the left side (after the injection process) two different concepts are used: the injection-moulded inserts (e.g. ball chains for slat blinds) can either be rewinded or cut to the required length.

The gate (if it exists) is cut off the finished parts. In some cases we remove the string or strip from the dispenser, and the material can be regranulated and returned to the process.

Even intractable materials from metal bands, thick steel cables up to heavy cable reels can be manufactured on our machines. Please consider the TOP 4 C machine for this, which is a special form of the presented TT.

The system can also be applied to products of which you might assume that the process of injection moulding would slow down connected processes like dismantling or cutting. With fourfold cutting and dismantling units you can achieve four plastic-sheated cables or single conductors, cut, dismantled, printed and with injection-moulded nozzle within a cycle of 30 seconds – without human intervention.
